Our practice is designed to make healthcare accessible with both home and virtual visit options.
Our board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Anna Brownstein, D.O., through both personal and professional experience, recognized the gap in care during the "fourth trimester", and is working to fill this gap with Brown Bear Pediatrics. While Dr. B has a special interest in newborn care, Brown Bear Pediatrics will offer a variety of services beyond the scope of newborns (see "services" for more information).
About Dr. B
Dr. Brownstein is a board-certified Pediatrician with several years of experience in general pediatrics, dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care to children and their families. She completed her medical training at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in North Carolina, and went on to complete her General Pediatrics Residency at Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina.
In addition to her clinical experience, Dr. B is also a mother of four, which has deeply shaped her perspective as a pediatrician. She understands first-hand the joys, challenges, and uncertainties that come with caring for a newborn, and the immense need for support during those early weeks.
Through Brown Bear Pediatrics, Dr. B's goal is to provide a calm presence for families navigating early parenthood. She strives to create a space where parents feel truly heard, unrushed, supported, and confident.

"Dr. B is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. My middle son was extremely sick as a baby. She came in on days off to do weight checks, always squeezed me in and most importantly LISTENED.
